TITLE:
- Teacher – Early Childhood Special Education
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A Professional Teaching License with a teaching endorsement in Early Childhood Special Education.
REPORTS TO:
- Principal or designated administrator
JOB GOAL:
- Assume responsibility for the instructional program for students with disabilities
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform tasks assigned to all teachers
- Provide instruction to students with disabilities
- Serve as a contributing member of school transdisciplinary teams
- Adapt and modify curricula and instruction as required by individual students’ educational plans
- Conduct individual assessments
- Serve as a learning consultant to school colleagues
- Serve as s member of the Child Study, Eligibility, and IEP Committees
- Other duties as assigned by the principal or Board
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- 200 days per year. Additional duties may be contracted for specific job assignments. Salary according to School Board Pay Plan.

- Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board’s policy on Evaluation of Personnel
